“There is a manuscript you need to copy for me.”

“I’m busy right now.”

“It’s in Houston. Didn’t you just move there?”

“I didn’t move here so I could copy manuscripts for you.”

“How do you know? Maybe that’s exactly why you moved there.”

A phone call from an old friend sets Dr. Giovanni Vecchio back on the path of a mystery he’d abandoned years before.  He never expected a young librarian could hold the key to the search, nor could he have expected the danger she would attract.  Now he and Beatrice de Novo will follow a twisted maze that leads them from the archives of a university library, through the fires of Renaissance Florence, and toward a confrontation they never could have predicted.

A Hidden Fire is a paranormal mystery/romance for adult readers.  It is the first book in the Elemental Mysteries Series.

The book that is just so amazing that you reread it over and over and it still surprises you. Thank-you so much for writing this! 🙂

Thought you might find it interesting to know that I found your page (books) because I needed to copy a large sized graphic of the Audible logo and clicked on the one leading to your page. I’ve now got book 1 on my Kindle and, based on the reviews, I imagine I’ll end up reading or listening to the entire series – I’ve been needing a new series. How fortuitous!

I was sitting on the bus the other day and I was extremely bored. That’s when I started reading one of your books over the shoulder of another rider. In the few pages I read I was hooked. I quickly wrote down the main characters name before I jumped off and then went to find your site!! A fan is born!

  6. Voice says:

    Dear Ms. Hunter,

I bought the book about a year or two ago, when it was in my free book section, and I didn’t touch it for a few months. It is something I am ashamed of, because I have fallen so hard for this series it kills me that I can’t afford the rest. I loved the way you take this world of ours and turn it into something fantastic. It was really a surprise to discover Gio wasn’t human! I wasn’t sure what would happen, but this book took my expectations and surpassed them on several standards.
I would love to see what you do in the future.
    May the Muses bless you.
